Siam Reap Angkor Wat

4/2/11 I woke up at 4:40am without an alarm to meet a tuk at 5 to go to Angkor wat and see the sunrise. It's on the list of must do's. Got there at 530 sun didn't rise until an hour later. I sat and waited but wasnt impressed with this temple as much as the others in Angkor Wat. When we came out our tuk driver said his mom called and he has to go far away for a Buddhist ceremony so his friend will drive us. Tricky man. We payed him 5 for driving a short distance then the 12 we agreed on was for his friend. We were going to do a full day tour but we were pooped after seeing one more so we asked to go back to our popular guesthouse which has fantastic memory foam beds and I had my first solid night sleep since I left Wils' house. The driver was not happy. Antonia asked how much he wanted us to pay him but I told her to shut up. When he dropped us off I handed him a 10. He was too shy to argue and I explained my logic and he meekly agreed. Antonia was impressed.

I'm sick of little kids and young people trying to sell me shit and they ask you so many times and pull on your arm and keep following you repeating over and over. Who taught these people to be annoying beggars? Who said this was a good way to make money? I want to start a class where I teach the beggars a more productive way of selling products where they are not annoying and so repetitive and if they act more innocent and childlike and fun then maybe someone will buy your shit. Otherwise if your annoying I will ignore you.
